The latest issue of the SEE newsletter is now available. The main topics of the issue are: the 55 new projects joining the SEE family last year, the SEE Annual conference held in Bologna last June and the other public events organized in 2012. SEASON'S GREETINGS FROM THE SEE JTS!

The SEE Joint Technical Secretariat and the Managing Authority would like to thank to all of you who have participated in one way or another in the SEE Programme during this year. 2012 has been a year full of activities with new projects and events, successful results produced by projects from the 1st call which have already concluded their activities and the beginning of the debates about the next programing period and the future of European Territorial Cooperation. The most important moments of this year for the SEE Programme have been collected in this issue of the newsletter.

Many more exciting challenges are waiting for the SEE Programme in 2013 and we would like to count on you again to face them, knowing that only through cooperation we will get our objectives.

We would like to take this occasion to wish all of our colleagues, partners, beneficiaries and potential beneficiaries and anyone interested in the SEE Programme the very best for the Holiday Season and a Happy New Year, with plenty of cooperation opportunities!

55 NEW PROJECTS JOINED THE SEE FAMILY IN 2012

Following the publication of a Strategic Call for Proposals and the Fourth Call for Proposals in 2011, more than 400 applications were received and, after the selection process, 8 and 47 new projects were respectively approved in April and September-December 2012.

300 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN THE SEE ANNUAL EVENT IN BOLOGNA

The Italian city of Bologna hosted the fifth edition of the SEE Annual Event. With the title "The Future built on the Present", 300 stakeholders, beneficiaries, experts and other interested actors of the area met to be updated about last programme's achievements and to debate about the future of territorial cooperation in the South East of Europe.

OTHER NEWS
OTHER SEE PUBLIC EVENTS ORGANIZED IN 2012 Apart from the seminars addressed to the Lead Partners of the 3rd and 4th calls, other important public events were organized this year, like the Joint Communication Seminar, the European Cooperation Day and the First Thematic Seminar (read more).
CHANGES IN THE JTS STAFF During 2012 some changes have occured in the members of staff of the Joint Technical Secretariat (read more).
FIRST IPA FINANCING AGREEMENTS SIGNED The first IPA financing agreements have been signed last September and October for Montenegro, Serbia and Croatia (read more).
