National Coordination
The Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic acts as the National Authority coordinating Transnational Cooperation Programmes and thus also Slovak participation to South East Europe programme.The Contact Point is integrated into the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic, Directorate for Environmental Programmes and Projects. The role of the Contact Point is to provide information concerning transnational programmes.

The Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic has managed the national environmental programmes financed by the EU funds
1., Operational Programme Basic Infrastructure (2004 - 2006), Priority 2: Environment
2., Operational Programme Environment (2007 - 2013)
The Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic also acted as the National Authority for CIP INTERREG IIIB CADSES (2000 - 2006) and currently performs tasks of national contact point for LIFE+ and other programmes.
